To buy each unit you'll need stone, and to get the stone you'll need miners. To make clear, this game mechanic works just like that of Plants Vs Zombies with its solar energy and sunflowers.

Throughout the game players can make use of all sorts of crazy defense units, from a small troll rock launcher (the basic unit) to the long-haired dragon or river troll. In total, there are more than half a dozen different troops to stop the vikings.
